Fayetteville, the Fayette County seat, has grown fast around its historic courthouse square and the Trilith studio community. It’s also one of the closer Fayette County communities to our south metro campus. The Recovery Village South Atlanta in Stockbridge is about 17 miles east of downtown Fayetteville and offers medical detox, residential treatment, inpatient mental health care and partial hospitalization. Our admissions line, (770) 376-0045, is answered 24/7.

Fayetteville Rehab FAQs

How far is The Recovery Village South Atlanta from Fayetteville?

About 17 miles, typically 30 minutes via GA-54, Tara Road and Hudson Bridge Road.

Do I need to go through detox before residential treatment?

Not always. It depends on the substances you use, how much and for how long. Our assessment and medical team decide whether detox should come first; stopping alcohol or benzodiazepines suddenly can be dangerous.

What if I only need outpatient care?

Our admissions team can talk through whether outpatient care is safe for you and point you to IOP at our Sandy Springs center or to local providers in Fayette County.
